You can have a veggie supreme at home!

Tender cooked vegetables and salty black olives give each bite depth and a rich flavor profile. The crunch from the red onions add a nice crisp bite at the end!

This big-name chain resturant's copycat recipe is a little fancier and fun to make at home. Just like my other pizza recipes, this one features a soft homemade dough and a red pizza sauce that takes seconds to mix up.

Hosting a pizza party? Pair this pizza with a vegetarian-friendly chopped salad and a side of homemade ranch!

    Ingredient Spotlight

You can put everything but the kitchen sink on a vegetarian pizza but let's talk about a couple of important ingredients!

    • Pizza Dough
      • Use whatever pizza dough you love! If I'm making this pizza for dinner, I'll usually purchase a store-bought dough from Trader Joe's.
      • If you want to make your own dough, check out my easy dough recipe that can be ready in as little as 1 hour!
    • Cheese
      • Please get some whole milk, low-moisture mozzarella for this recipe, and honestly, all pizza recipes!
      • This cheese stretches super well and is delish.

    Pro Tip!

    • If you're able, get a block of cheese and shred it yourself!
    • The pre-shredded cheese has an anti-caking agent that stops the cheese from getting super melty.

    Let's make this pizza!

Once you have your dough and pizza sauce ready, it’s time to put this tasty pizza together. Here’s how to make the best vegetarian pizza at home:

Overhead of a stainless steel pan with cooked mushrooms, bell peppers and garlic in it.
Step 1: Cook those veggies! Make sure that you get some good deep brown color on those mushrooms. Cooking these veggies helps keep them from releasing too much liquid when the pizza is baking.

Step 2: Stretch your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.

Step 3: Top the pizza with all the things, ane make sure to save a little of that cheese to sprinkle on top!

Step 4: Bake it baby! Bake your pizza until it's crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly!

It's time for a pizza party!
