This fresh and bright mint simple syrup comes together in 15 minutes and adds a special touch to so many different recipes. Great for cocktails and mocktails alike!
Cook the sugar and water over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. You’ll want to stir it a couple of times while it’s cooking!
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the mint leaves. Let them steep for 15 minutes.
Now strain the mint simple syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, discard the cooked mint leaves and let your syrup cool.
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
