Baked Brie with Pears, Pistachios, and Honey

Equipment

  • quarter baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • chef knife

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce wheel of double cream brie
  • ½ cup thinly sliced pear about ½ small pear
  • 2 tablespoons chopped roasted and salted pistachios
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon finely chopped thyme
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Toss sliced pear, thyme, lemon juice, and chopped pistachios in a medium bowl.
  • Place brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and top with pear mixture.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the sides of the brie are soft to the touch.
  • Allow the brie to cool for 5 minutes then carefully transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle with honey and top with additional thyme leaves.
  • Serve immediately with crackers.
