Frozen Mojito

This slushy and minty Frozen Mojito blends together homemade mint syrup, lime juice, rum, sparkling water, and ice. Whip up a batch in just 5 minutes for a refreshing poolside cocktail!

Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup mint leaves about 1 bunch
  • ½ cup sugar


  • 6 ounces white rum
  • ½ cup mint simple syrup
  • ¼ cup lime juice about 5 limes
  • ¼ cup sparkling water
  • 6 cups ice


Mint Simple Syrup

  • Combine sugar and ½ cup water togetherr in a medium sauce-pan.
  • Cook over medium-high heat untiil sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes
  • Remove from heat, add mint leaves and steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the mint simple syrup. Discard the mint leaves, and cool until ready to use.
  • Reserve ½ cup mint simple syrup for the Frozen Mojito and save the rest for other uses (there shouldn't be much left over).


  • Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
  • Blend until smooth and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
