- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 4 cups sparkling water
- blueberry syrup
Combine blueberries, sugar, water, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the berries have burst and sugar has dissolved about 8 minutes.
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing out all the juice.
Allow the syrup to cool completely before using.
